Hi Tony,
Just watched the Burrs video, this looks like something that I would be interested in attending as I’ve got a few Trees which have never had any work done on them. I wouldn’t mind bringing my Blawws X Junipers which have been growing freely for the last 20 years, I’m not too sure what to do with them and don’t know many people near where I live who are into Bonsai who I could ask for advice.
I’m also interested in Progetto Futuro UK Bonsai School. It would be an excellent idea to be able to go and get an “Education” in Bonsai, with recognised Qualifications etc.
Could you send me as much info as possible in regards to BBW 2013 and Progetto Futuro UK Bonsai School please ?
Cheers,
Tony.

Tony’s comment that the first 10 to 15 years of a bonsai artists experience is generally fraught with missteps and largely wasted rings true. I read numerous books on bonsai, which only served to confuse me and expose me to poor information. I attended 3 hour guest artist workshops which exposed me to inconsistent techniques and sometimes poor techniques. It was not until 9 yrs ago whenI started working with my current teacher, Boon Manakitivipart, that I l really began to learn good technique and my skills and trees improved. We work together for 3 full days three times per year.
